ESIP - Emergency Services Insurance Program - is offered through McNeil & Company of Cortland, NY.

McNeil & Company was formed in 1989 by Dan McNeil and in 1990 began to provide insurance and risk management services to emergency service organizations.  In 1992, with the Emergency Services Insurance Program growing at a rapid rate, the company opened a second office on Long Island.  By 1994, business had expanded across the country, leading to the opening of a third office in Tacoma, Washington which facilitated better service to the company's west coast clients.

In 1997, McNeil & Company opened another satellite office in York , Pennsylvania and built its current 15,000 square-foot home office at 20 Church Street in Cortland.

In 1998, additional programs were implemented to allow the company to provide enhanced products and services to specialized insurance and risk clients.  Continued creation of new programs and services ensures the company's growth to the top of the national insurance providers.

Like General Insurance Agency, McNeil & Company's Marketing philosophy is focused on the creation of long term relationships.  McNeil & Company reinforces that philosophy with its field agents and currently utilizes approximately 300 appointed agents.

The Loss Control Services Division is the most unique in an insurance industry crowded with "one size fits all" responses to client needs.  Loss control is immensely important to the overall insurance risk management plan and McNeil & Company is committed to seeing reductions in loss by developing innovative loss control processes which are tailored to individual client operations, procedures and potential problem area.
